MouCo Poutine

Image

Poutine is a delicious and hearty Canadian dish made with french fries, cheese curds, and gravy. The dish is typically made with beef gravy, but other types of gravy, such as chicken or vegetarian gravy, can also be used. The cheese curds are what make poutine unique. When bitten into, they squeak and add a delicious creaminess to the dish.

The squeaky, fresh MouCo cheddar cheese curds add a unique texture to poutine, while the rich and flavorful gravy ties everything together.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound french fries
  • 1/2 cup beef gravy
  • 1 cup MouCo Cheddar Cheese Curds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Place the french fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Meanwhile, heat the beef gravy in a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Once the gravy is heated through, add the cheese curds and stir until melted.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. To assemble the poutine, top the french fries with the cheese curds and gravy.
  8. Serve immediately.

Tips:

  • For a more flavorful poutine, use fresh-cut french fries.
  • You can also add other toppings to your poutine, such as bacon, onions, or green onions.
  • Serve this dish for a quick and easy meal or for a special occasion.

Enjoy!
