Baked MouCo Camembert with Mushrooms and Brandy

Baked Camembert with Mushrooms and Brandy is a delicious and easy appetizer that is perfect for a party or gathering. The creamy, gooey Camembert cheese is topped with a savory mushroom and brandy mixture, and then baked until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Ingredients:

  • 1 wheel of MouCo Camembert cheese
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • Crackers, bread, or baguette slices, for serving

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Place the MouCo Camembert cheese on a baking sheet.
  3. In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the brandy, salt, and pepper to the mushrooms and cook for 1 minute more.
  5. Pour the mushroom mixture over the cheese.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve with crackers, bread, or baguette slices.
